I am a native Floridian that enjoys being outdoors. I have two children (7 & 8) that keep me on my toes, and a wonderful husband, Jason. I have been working in the veterinary field for 16 years and I have been working in referral speciality practice for 12 years. My interests are gastrointestinal disease, and endocrinopathies. I have been a featured speaker at state conferences from Florida to Indiana and have lectured at ACVIM (American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine). I am a certified veterinary technician in Florida (and soon to be in NC, as well) with a VTS in small animal internal medicine. I also enjoy emergency medicine very much with a special interest in trauma cases. I am optimistic, outgoing, and see the humor in the world. I am owned by a spyhinx cat (Sally), a Bichon (Racheal), and have recently adopted a Queensland heeler named Jasper. I am also privileged to live with a DSH named Edward, who owns my son.
