Catherine Ashe is an East Tennessee native. She attended the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation in 2008, she spent a year at the Regional Institute for Veterinary Emergency and Referral in Chattanooga, Tennessee completing a small animal internal medicine, emergency, and surgery internship. She then spent 4.5 years as an emergency veterinarian at Cabarrus Emergency Veterinary Clinic just north of Charlotte. She then joined REACH in November of 2013.
Her special interests include exotic animal medicine (especially birds), critical care, and management of sepsis.
Catherine is mother to 3 beautiful children. Her hobbies include cooking, reading, writing, live music, and spending time with friends and family.
